Problem: Some of the books on the list carry a lot of prestige and you are tempted to read them as soon as possible.
Solution: Determine the correct sequence for the books rather than jumping too quickly into material that will be too much too soon.
Too many people read [design_patterns] too early when a book like [refactoring] is actually a much gentler introduction to patterns and Chapter 33, Primary Sources.
