is really important and perhaps needs to be emphasized even more if possible. A major barrier I've seen from both sides is that apprentices feel constrained from asking questions and making suggestions because they don't want to bother people with more experience than they have. Likewise, I've seen management discouraging apprenticeship and mentoring relationships with their best employees because they want those people working not training. This quote goes a long way toward overcoming the misconceptions that lead to these inefficient practices.
